Vindekilde

Vindekilde is both the name of a spring and the surrounding area, both of which hold significant historical importance for Røsnæs. The spring bubbles up from the ground, maintaining a constant temperature of 7°C throughout the year. The water flows through the Vindekilde Gorge before reaching the sea. At the spring’s outlet, you can spot the remnants of a muskrat farm from the years during and after World War II, marked by two rows of concrete pipes embedded in the slope.

Vindekilde is located near the “Kig-ud” viewpoint and Vågehøj Bunker. Parking is available just before the forest near the Nature School.
