in Kalundborg Fjord from our bathing jetty. The possibilities are many, and we are ready with good advice and are always ready to have fun with our guests.
Restaurant Næs
Close to the beach – so close you can almost feel the water on your feet – you’ll find Restaurant Næs. Restaurant Næs is located in the beautiful and stylish main house. The building has a classic design on the outside and a beautiful modern inside. Here you can enjoy your dinner with a wonderful view of Kalundborg fjord.
The food is prepared using the best fresh ingredients and many local products from West Zealand. The kitchen is passionate about giving the guests, the best taste and dining experiences. Restaurant Næs is very close to the nature and you never get tired of watching the beautiful blue hues of Kalundborg Fjord.
Strandhotel Røsnæs
Strandhotel Røsnæs is a 3-star hotel located just behind the main building. The hotel offers a variety of different rooms, some with the most beautiful sea view, others with direct access to our lovely garden area – where if you are lucky, you get to see a local deer. All the rooms at Strandhotel Røsnæs was renovated in 2016 giving the hotel a fresh new feel. While visiting walking along the beach is a must – and if the weather is right, it is possible to get a refreshing dip using the jetty. Strandhotel Røsnæs is located right in the middle of the unique nature of Røsnæs – and at the same time is only 5km away from the center of Kalundborg city. We can highly recommend a trip to Denmark’s largest vineyard, Dyrehøj Vingård, or to the Lighthouse at the tip of Røsnæs.
CANCELLATION IS POSSIBLE UNTIL 24 HOURS BEFORE ARRIVAL
Accomondations at Strandhotel Røsnæs can be canceled up to 24 hours before arrival.
Cancellation must be made per. mail to info@sh-r.dk
If you cancel after 24 hours before arrival, you will be charged the full rate for your stay.
It is not possible to cancel, change or get money back on “Non-refundable” bookings.
Safe to Visit
Strandhotel Røsnæs is part of HORESTA’s “SAFE TO VISIT” program.
We comply with all the guidelines for interior design, safe distance, good behavior and hygiene that make you feel comfortable, and of course we have hand sanitizer in many places.
As a guest, you must present coronapas if you have ordered breakfast or if you want to eat in Restaurant Næs.

DENMARK’S BEST BEACH HOTEL 2021
On 2 March Strandhotel Røsnæs has been awarded ‘Denmark’s Best Beach Hotel 2021’.
Every year, ‘Discover Denmark’ nominates the country’s best experiences in a number of categories, including the best beach hotel, and here we won the award this year.
We are deeply grateful to all those who have voted for us and who also think that our hotel is a unique gem. Also a big thank you to Discover Denmark for focusing on all of Denmark’s beautiful beach hotels, which are all unique in their own way and all are offering something different.
